Vascular surgical intervention for complications of cardiovascular radiology: 13 years' experience in a single centre.
TL;DR: The risk of surgical intervention after diagnostic or interventional cardiovascular radiology is diminishing but still requires vigilance, and necessity for surgical intervention is associated with a high risk of morbidity and mortality.

Duplex ultrasonography and pulse-generated run-off in selecting claudicants for femoropopliteal angioplasty.
A.H. Davies,T.R. Magee,R. Parry,J. K. Hayward,P. Murphy,S. E. A. Cole,Roger N. Baird,Michael Horrocks +7 more
TL;DR: Duplex ultrasonography offers a non‐invasive and cost‐effective alternative to diagnostic angiography for clinically suspected infrainguinal arterial disease presenting as claudication and was not of clinical value in assessing suitability for angioplasty.

Colour duplex in assessing the infrainguinal arteries in patients with claudication
A.H. Davies,J.H. Willcox,T.R. Magee,I.C. Currie,S. E. A. Cole,P. Murphy,PM Lamont,Roger N. Baird +7 more
TL;DR: Non-invasive assessment of the lower-limb vasculature may avoid unnecessary arteriography, and colour duplex examination is the investigation of choice in assessing the major infrainguinal arteries in patients with claudication.

Intra-arterial streptokinase infusion in acute lower limb ischaemia.
TL;DR: In all groups, no patient with a poor run‐off had a successful outcome following streptokinase administration, and these results suggest that an adequate run-off is an important factor in the selection of patients for treatment.

Stenting for vein graft stenosis.
A.H. Davies,T.R. Magee,J. F. Thompson,P. Murphy,AJ Jones,Michael Horrocks,PM Lamont,Roger N. Baird +7 more
TL;DR: The management of vein graft stenoses at the site of a vein to vein anastomosis following interposition grafting and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty is discussed.
