Compact micropumping system based on LIGA fabricated microparts
M. Matteucci,F. Pérennès,Benedetta Marmiroli,P. Miotti,Lisa Vaccari,A. Gosparini,A. Turchet,E. Di Fabrizio +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the design, fabrication and testing of a magnetically actuated micro-gear pumps based on the LIGA technology is described, which exhibit flow rates between 0.5 and 8.5ml/min and head pressures up to 100cm-H"2O.

Ceramic catalysts for the decomposition of H2O2 - : Influence of wash-coat procedure and active phase
Rachid Brahmi,Yann Batonneau,Charles Kappenstein,P. Miotti,Martin Tajmar,Carsten Scharlemann,Martin Lang +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the catalytic decomposition of 70% H2O2 is proposed as a sub-component of a bipropellant engine using ethanol as fuel, and three different washcoat procedures have been compared with the aim to allow a good anchorage of the active phase precursors: silver nitrate and sodium permanganate.

Design and prototyping of a micropropulsion system for microsatellites attitude control and orbit correction
Lisa Vaccari,Matteo Altissimo,E. Di Fabrizio,F. De Grandis,G. Manzoni,Fabio Santoni,Filippo Graziani,Annamaria Gerardino,Frederic Perennes,P. Miotti +9 more
TL;DR: A key point for precise micronanosatellites orbit and attitude control is the development of a suitable propulsion system, weighting a few grams and capable of few μN of thrust.

Design and Fabrication of Microturbine Rotors for Small Power Generation
Benedetta Marmiroli,Frederic Perennes,Alessio Turchet,Sincrotrone Trieste,Arrigo Gosparini,P. Miotti,Mechatronic Systemtechnik,Martin Tajmar,Martin Lang,Enzo Di Fabrizio +9 more
- 01 Nov 2004
TL;DR: TASC/INFM, Sincrotrone Trieste (ELETTRA), and Mechatronic GmbH have started the design of a microturbine powered with compressed gas to be used as an electrical generator in a micro/nanosatellite as mentioned in this paper.
