Cyclical variability of suspended sediment concentration over a low-energy tidal flat in Jiaozhou Bay, China: effect of shoaling on wave impact
TL;DR: In this article, turbidity, horizontal and vertical current velocities and echo intensity were measured over an intertidal flat within the semi-enclosed Jiaozhou Bay, China, to examine patterns in suspended sediment concentration (SSC) and possible control factors.

Impact of dams on Yangtze River sediment supply to the sea and delta intertidal wetland response
TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of 50,000 dams on sediment supply and intertidal wetland response in the Yangtze River catchment was examined, and it was shown that the total growth rate of inter-idal wetlands at the delta front has decreased dramatically.
