De Maeght S,Jean Henrion,Nadine Bourgeois,de Galocsy C,P. Langlet,Peter Michielsen,Hendrik Reynaert,G. Robaeys,D. Sprengers,Hans Orlent,M. Adler +10 more
TL;DR: This study highlights the feasibility of a national HCV survey using a simple questionnaire and indicates that this pilot study could be generalised throughout Belgium, and, if repeated, could allow a regular assessment of the changes in epidemiology and management of HCV infection in this country.

Clinical trial: a randomized trial of pegylated-interferon-alpha-2a plus ribavirin with or without amantadine in treatment-naïve or relapsing chronic hepatitis C patients.
P. Langlet,F D'Heygere,Jean Henrion,M. Adler,J. Delwaide,H. Van Vlierberghe,J P Mulkay,L Lasser,Réginald Brenard,Yves Horsmans,P.P. Michielsen,A. Laureys,Frederik Nevens +12 more
TL;DR: This data indicates that the combination therapy of pegylated‐interferon‐α2a plus ribavirin is considered as the standard of care for patients with chronic hepatitis C with a sustained viral response in around 80% of naïve patients with genotype 2 or 3.

HBV infection in Belgium: results of the BASL observatory of 1,456 HBsAg carriers.
Pierre Deltenre,Wim Laleman,M. Van Gossum,A. Lenaerts,Isabelle Colle,Peter Michielsen,M. Adler,Jean Delwaide,C Assene,Hendrik Reynaert,F D'Heygere,G. Robaeys,C de Galocsy,Réginald Brenard,P. Langlet,D. Sprengers,M. C. Mairlot,C. Preux,V. Lefèbvre,Hans Orlent,Jean Henrion +20 more
