Variable high gradient permanent magnet quadrupole (QUAPEVA)
Fabrice Marteau,Amin Ghaith,P. N’gotta,C. Benabderrahmane,Mathieu Valléau,Charles Kitegi,Alexandre Loulergue,J. Vétéran,Mourad Sebdaoui,Thomas André,G. Le Bec,Joel Chavanne,Cynthia Vallerand,Driss Oumbarek,O. Cosson,F. Forest,P. Jivkov,J. L. Lancelot,M. E. Couprie +18 more
TL;DR: The QUAPEVA as discussed by the authors is a permanent magnet based quadrupole, composed of a Halbach ring and surrounded by four permanent magnet cylinders, which can reach up to 200 T/m for a typical 10 mm bore diameter.

Variable high gradient permanent magnet quadrupole (QUAPEVA)
Fabrice Marteau,P. N’gotta,C. Benabderrahmane,Amin Ghaith,Mathieu Valléau,Alexandre Loulergue,J. Vétéran,Mourad Sebdaoui,Thomas André,G. Le Bec,Joel Chavanne,Cynthia Vallerand,Driss Oumbarek,O. Cosson,F. Forest,P. Jivkov,J. L. Lancelot,M. E. Couprie +17 more
TL;DR: The QUAPEVA as discussed by the authors is composed of a Halbach ring placed in the center with a bore radius of 6 mm and surrounded by four permanent magnet cylinders capable of providing a gradient of 210 T/m. Magnetic measurements of seven systems of different lengths are presented and confirmed the theoretical expectations.

Tunable high gradient quadrupoles for a laser plasma acceleration based FEL
Amin Ghaith,C. Kitegi,Thomas André,Mathieu Valléau,Fabrice Marteau,J. Veteran,Frederic Blache,C. Benabderrahmane,O. Cosson,F. Forest,P. Jivkov,J. L. Lancelot,M. E. Couprie +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a permanent magnet-based quadrupole (QUAPEVA) made of two quadrupoles superimposed capable of generating a gradient of 200 T/m is presented.
