RedDots: Multiplanet system around M dwarf GJ 887 in the solar neighborhood
C. Hartogh,Sandra V. Jeffers,S. Dreizler,J. R. Barnes,C. Haswell,F. Liebing,A. Collier Cameron,P. Gorrini,F. Del Sordo,P. Cortes-Zuleta +9 more
- 21 Jan 2026
TL;DR: Researchers reanalyze the GJ 887 system, confirming a four-planet model, including a super-Earth in the habitable zone, and a potential additional planet in a 2:1 resonance, with further investigation required to confirm its nature.
Cyclic changes in the interacting binary RXCassiopeiae
Ronald E. Mennickent,G. Djursevic,J. Petrovic,P. Gorrini,F. Burgos,M. I. Jurkovic,Antonio Mário Magalhães,D. S. Schleicher,P. Calderon +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed 109 years of published photometry and times of minima of the eclipsing interacting binary RXCas and found evidence of variations in the length of the previously reported long photometric cycle and changes in the shape of the orbital light curve.
