TL;DR: In this article, the diffusion of neutrons and protons between projectiles and targets with different N/Z-asymmetries is studied by means of imbalance ratios measurements, and the results and their comparison to transport model simulations provide constraints on the density dependence of the symmetry energy.

TL;DR: In this paper, collisions involving 112Sn and 124Sn nuclei have been calculated with the ImQMD transport model in order to place constraints on the density dependences of the nuclear symmetry energy.

TL;DR: In this article, the diffusion of isospin asymmetry was studied by combining data from asymmetric {sup 112}Sn+{sup 124}Sn and {sup 124]Sn +{sup 112]Sn collisions with those from symmetric {suite 112}sn+{suite 12]Sn and Suite 14]Sn+suite 13] collisions at beam energies of E/A=35 MeV.
