Evaluation of the Contamination in Tundishes During Filling Stage and Plasma Heating Practice Using a Novel Dynamic Model
Simão Vervloet Ramos,P. Cisquini,Bernardo Martins Braga,José Ricardo Ferreira Oliveira,A. A. L. da Silva,Maurício Covcevich Bagatini +5 more
- 28 Nov 2022
TL;DR: In this paper , a dynamic model was developed using computational thermodynamics and heat transfer routines taking into consideration the steel flow pattern of an industrial tundish, which was constructed to interpret the equipment as a continuous stirred tank reactor with multiple sources of contamination.
Investigation of Physicochemical Characteristics of Heavy, Medium and Blend Crude Petroleum on Corrosion Resistance of AISI 1020 Carbon Steel
P. Cisquini,Simão Vervloet Ramos,Andrew Michael Tilley,Deise Menezes Santos,Vanessa de Freitas Cunha Lins,Marcos Benedito José Geraldo de Freitas +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of physicochemical characteristics of heavy (17.5 °API), medium (28.3 °API) and blend (50% heavy + 50% medium) crude petroleum on corrosion of AISI 1020 carbon steel at 25.0 ± 1.0°C was analyzed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, potentiodynamic polarization, and scanning electron microscopy.
