Evolution of Interatomic Coulombic Decay in the Time Domain
Florian Trinter,Joshua B. Williams,M. Weller,M. Waitz,M. Pitzer,J. Voigtsberger,C. Schober,G. Kastirke,C. Müller,C. Goihl,P. Burzynski,F. Wiegandt,T. Bauer,R. Wallauer,H. Sann,A. Kalinin,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,Markus Schöffler,Nicolas Sisourat,Till Jahnke +19 more
TL;DR: The first direct measurement of the temporal evolution of ICD is presented using a novel experimental approach and is predicted to be highly complex, as its efficiency strongly depends on the distance of the atoms involved and this distance typically changes during the decay.
Stereochemical configuration and selective excitation of the chiral molecule halothane
Martin Pitzer,Martin Pitzer,G. Kastirke,P. Burzynski,M. Weller,D. Metz,Jonathan Neff,M. Waitz,Florian Trinter,Lothar Ph. H. Schmidt,Joshua B. Williams,Till Jahnke,Horst Schmidt-Böcking,Robert Berger,Reinhard Dörner,Markus Schöffler +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray single-photon ionization and fragmentation of the chiral molecule halothane from a racemic mixture were investigated using the cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy technique.

Interatomic-Coulombic-decay-induced recapture of photoelectrons in helium dimers
P. Burzynski,Florian Trinter,Joshua B. Williams,M. Weller,M. Waitz,M. Pitzer,J. Voigtsberger,C. Schober,G. Kastirke,C. Müller,C. Goihl,F. Wiegandt,R. Wallauer,A. Kalinin,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,Markus Schöffler,Gregor Schiwietz,Nicolas Sisourat,Nicolas Sisourat,Till Jahnke,Reinhard Dörner +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the onset of photoionization shake-up-induced interatomic Coulombic decay (ICD) was investigated by detecting two ion pairs in coincidence, and it was found that the threshold to be shifted towards higher energies compared to the same threshold in the monomer was attributed to a recapture of the threshold photoelectron after the emission of the faster ICD electron.

Born in weak fields: below-threshold photoelectron dynamics
Joshua B. Williams,Ulf Saalmann,Florian Trinter,Markus Schöffler,M. Weller,P. Burzynski,C. Goihl,K. Henrichs,C. Janke,Brandon Griffin,G. Kastirke,Jonathan Neff,M. Pitzer,M. Waitz,Y Yang,Gregor Schiwietz,S. Zeller,Till Jahnke,R. Dörner +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the dynamics of ultra-low kinetic energy photoelectrons were investigated and it was shown that the observed shift in their apparent measured momentum when the target system is exposed to such static electric fields can be explained through theoretical model calculations.

Florian Trinter,Joshua B. Williams,M. Weller,M. Waitz,M. Pitzer,J. Voigtsberger,C. Schober,G. Kastirke,C. Müller,C. Goihl,P. Burzynski,F. Wiegandt,H. Sann,R. Wallauer,A. Kalinin,L. Schmidt,Markus Schöffler,Nicolas Sisourat,Till Jahnke +18 more

TL;DR: In this paper, the Coulombic Decay in helium dimers has been measured time-resolved for the first time, and the decay was shown to be stable in the presence of helium.
