An overview of the application of Fenton oxidation to industrial wastewaters treatment
TL;DR: A review of the application of the Fenton process as an advanced oxidation method for the treatment of industrial wastewaters can be found in this article, where the efficiency and flexibility of this technology has been proven with a wide diversity of effluents from chemical and other related industries or activities, including pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, textile, food, cork processing and landfilling among others.

Application of Fenton oxidation to cosmetic wastewaters treatment.
TL;DR: Application of the Fenton oxidation process allows to reach the COD regional limit for industrial wastewaters discharges to the municipal sewer system and a simple kinetic analysis based on TOC was carried out.

Oxidation of cosmetic wastewaters with H2O2 using a Fe/γ-Al2O3 catalyst
TL;DR: The locally allowable limit of COD for industrial wastewaters discharge to the municipal sewer system can be achieved at lower temperature and space-time, and a substantial COD reduction has been reached with a complete consumption of H(2)O(2).

Comparison of Fenton and Fenton-like oxidation for the treatment of cosmetic wastewater
TL;DR: It is proved that both versions of the Fenton process lead to quite similar results in terms of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total organic carbon reduction although the COD shows a slightly higher rate in the early stages of reaction.

Catalytic wet peroxide oxidation of cosmetic wastewaters with Fe-bearing catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of catalytic wet peroxide oxidation (CWPO) of cosmetic wastewaters was evaluated using Fe supported on γ-Al2O3 and active carbon.
