Studying the properties and response of a large volume (946 cm3) LaBr3:Ce detector with γ-rays up to 22.5 MeV
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of a large volume (946 cm3) cylindrical (3.5 in. diameter × 6 in. length) LaBr3:Ce detector has been studied using γ - rays from radioactive sources and in-beam reaction, from few hundred keV to 22.5

Gayatri Mohanto,N. Madhavan,S. Nath,Jhilam Sadhukhan,J. Gehlot,I. Mazumdar,M. B. Naik,E.V. Prasad,Ish Mukul,T. Varughese,Akhil Jhingan,R. K. Bhowmik,A. K. Sinha,D.A. Gothe,P.B. Chavan,Santanu Pal,Vaidhyanathan Ramamurthy,A. Roy +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the gated gamma-multiplicity was measured for the reaction 30 Si + 170 Er which formed the compound nucleus (CN) 200 Pb and the measured multiplicity distribution was compared with those of two other reactions, viz, 16 O + 184 W and 19 F + 181 Ta forming the same compound nucleus.
