Tanja Heftrich,Kafa Al-Khasawleh,Sandra Borzek,B. Brückner,Sophia Dellmann,Ozan Dogan,A. El Mard,P. Erbacher,M. Gail,Kathrin Göbel,Fabian Habermehl,B. Heybeck,T. Kisselbach,Deniz Kurtulgil,Rim Mourad,Markus Reich,Rene Reifarth,Silas Sheriff,Tom Staab,M. Volknandt,Mario Weigand +20 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors developed a new method to measure neutron capture cross sections at kBT = 6 keV, which is the temperature at which the slow neutron capture process produces heavy elements in different stellar sites at different temperatures.

TL;DR: In this paper, the first results and plans for future neutron activation measurements at the Goethe University Frankfurt were presented and the measurements were performed at the Van-de-Graaff accelerator employing the \(7}\)Li(p,n) reaction.

Activation measurements of neutron capture cross sections at various temperatures
Tanja Heftrich,Mario Weigand,Kafa Al-Khasawleh,B. Brückner,Sophia Dellmann,Ozan Dogan,A. El Mard,P. Erbacher,Fabian Habermehl,B. Heybeck,M. Gail,Kathrin Göbel,T. Kisselbach,Deniz Kurtulgil,Markus Reich,Rene Reifarth,Silas Sheriff,M. Volknandt +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper , activation experiments using the 7Li(p,n) reaction as a neutron source were performed at a temperature of kBT = 25 keV, and the cross sections were determined for 27Al, 37Cl and 41K.
