Electron loss from 1.4-MeV/u U 4,6,10+ ions colliding with Ne, N 2 , and Ar targets
Robert D. DuBois,A. C. F. Santos,Th. Stöhlker,F. Bosch,A. Bräuning-Demian,A. Gumberidze,S. Hagmann,C. Kozhuharov,Rido Mann,A. Oršić Muthig,U. Spillmann,S. Tachenov,W. Bart,L. Dahl,B. Franzke,J. Glatz,L. Gröning,S. Richter,D. Wilms,K. Ullmann,Ottmar Jagutzki +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured absolute, total, single and multiple-electron-loss cross sections for $1.4m ions colliding with neon and argon atoms and nitrogen molecules and found that the cross sections all have the same dependence on the number of electrons lost.
Ion-impact-induced interatomic Coulombic decay in neon and argon dimers
H. K. Kim,H. Gassert,Markus Schöffler,J. Titze,M. Waitz,J. Voigtsberger,Florian Trinter,J. Becht,A. Kalinin,N. Neumann,C. L. Zhou,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,Ottmar Jagutzki,Achim Czasch,Hocine Merabet,Horst Schmidt-Böcking,Till Jahnke,Amine Cassimi,Reinhard Dörner +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the contribution of interatomic Coulombic decay induced by ion impact in neon and argon dimers to the production of low-energy electrons.

State selective differential cross sections for single and double electron capture in $He\sp{1,2+}-He$ and $p-He$ collisons
Markus Schöffler,J. Titze,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,T. Jahnke,Ottmar Jagutzki,Horst Schmidt-Böcking,R. Dörner,Ivan Mančev +7 more
TL;DR: Using the COLTRIMStechnique, scattering angle differential cross sections for single and double electron capture in collisions of protons and $He\sp{1,2+}$ projectiles with helium atoms for incident energies of $60-630 keV/u$ are measured as mentioned in this paper.

A wide-field TCSPC FLIM system based on an MCP PMT with a delay-line anode.
Wolfgang Becker,Liisa M. Hirvonen,James Milnes,Thomas Conneely,Ottmar Jagutzki,Holger Netz,Stefan Smietana,Klaus Suhling +7 more
TL;DR: The implementation of a wide-field time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC) method for fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) is reported on, based on a 40 mm diameter crossed delay line anode detector, where the readout is performed by three standard TCSPC boards.

Abrupt Rise of the Longitudinal Recoil Ion Momentum Distribution for Ionizing Collisions
Th. Weber,Kh. Khayyat,Reinhard Dörner,V D Rodríguez,V. Mergel,Ottmar Jagutzki,L. Schmidt,K. Müller,F. Afaneh,A. Gonzalez,Horst Schmidt-Böcking +10 more
TL;DR: The longitudinal as well as the transverse distribution of the recoil ions can be explained as a continuation of the momentum distribution from ions resulting from electron capture illustrating the smooth transition from the capture to bound states of the projectile to the ECC.
