Resonant photoemission study of CeO 2
M. Matsumoto,Kazuo Soda,Kouichi Ichikawa,Satoshi Tanaka,Yukihiro Taguchi,K. Jouda,Osamu Aita,Yasuhisa Tezuka,Shik Shin +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the decay process of the photoexcited 4f electron in the ground state of the Ce 4d\ensuremath{\rightarrow}4f photoabsorption region was investigated by means of a resonant photoemission technique.

Photoemission study of benzene adsorbed on si surfaces
TL;DR: In this article, the Si2 p core-level photoemission and polarization dependent C K photoabsorption measurements of C 6 H 6 on Si(111)7 × 7 andSi(100)2 × 1 surfaces are studied.

Hole-induced shakedown process in the M 4 , 5 fluorescent emission spectrum of lanthanum
TL;DR: The hole-induced shakedown process is observed in the x-ray M/sub 4,5/ fluorescent emission spectrum of lanthanum, which indicates that the shakedown transition from the conduction-band states to the empty 4f level occurs in the presence of a 3d core hole.

Photoelectron spectroscopic study of the decay process of excited 4d states in cesium halides.
TL;DR: The nonradiative decay of excited 4d states in CsCl and CsBr was investigated by photoelectron spectroscopy with use of synchrotron radiation and it was observed that the intensities of the Auger-electron peak andCs 5p photoelectrons peak are resonantly enhanced around the Cs 4d excitation energy, while the valence-band intensity is not clearly enhanced.
