Quantification of airway wall contrast enhancement on virtual monoenergetic images from spectral computed tomography
Arndt Lukas Bodenberger,Philip Konietzke,Oliver Weinheimer,Willi L. Wagner,Wolfram Stiller,Tim Frederik Weber,Claus Peter Heussel,Hans-Ulrich Kauczor,Mark O. Wielpütz +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , a single contrastenhanced spectral detector was used to quantify lung parenchyma and airway wall attenuation in a single CT acquisition, and the spectral attenuation curve slope between 40 and 100 keV was calculated.
LATE-BREAKING ABSTRACT: Comparative studies on bronchuswall-thickness by histologic and computed tomographic measurements of porcine lungs
Christoph Brochhausen,Christine Schmitt,Volker Schmitt,David Hollemann,Oliver Weinheimer,Andreas Mamilos,Hinrich B. Winther,Amelie Elsäßer,C. James Kirkpatrick +8 more
TL;DR: CT has become a useful tool for airway imaging but MicroCT represented more adequate results of airway measurements in the present study and was superior compared to CT.

Probabilistic modeling of COPD imaging characteristics for disease severity prediction
S. Dias Almeida,Tobias Norajitra,Chris Lueth,Tassilo Wald,T. Kopytova,Marco Nolden,P. F. Jaeger,Claus Peter Heussel,Juergen Biederer,Hans-Ulrich Kauczor,Oliver Weinheimer,Klaus H. Maier-Hein +11 more
- 04 Sep 2022
TL;DR: González et al. as discussed by the authors used Gaussian mixture models (GMM) to predict the GOLD stage of COPD, defined as the percentage of low attenuation areas under -950 HU (LAA-950%).

TL;DR: Poster: "ECR 2016 / C-0059 / Automated Fibrosis Quantification Software – Lung Segmentation Issues in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis" by M. A. Vogel.
Analyse von Bronchien in der Multislice-CT
Oliver Weinheimer,T. Achenbach,Claus P. Heussel,Manfred Thelen,Thomas Uthmann +4 more
- 01 Jan 2004
TL;DR: Es wird eine Methode zum objektiven Bestimmen der Wanddicke und des Gesamt durchmessers von Bronchien in der 3-dimensionalen Computertomographie vorgestellt.
