QCD thermal phase transition in the presence of a small chemical potential
Chris Allton,Chris Allton,Shinji Ejiri,Simon Hands,Simon Hands,Olaf Kaczmarek,Frithjof Karsch,Frithjof Karsch,Edwin Laermann,Christian Schmidt,Luigi Scorzato +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal properties of QCD with a small quark chemical potential were investigated using a 16(3)x4 lattice and the leading order Taylor expansion of the pseudocritical point about mu=0.

Chiral crossover in QCD at zero and non-zero chemical potentials
Alexei Bazavov,Heng-Tong Ding,P. Hegde,Olaf Kaczmarek,Olaf Kaczmarek,Frithjof Karsch,Frithjof Karsch,Nikhil Karthik,Edwin Laermann,Anirban Lahiri,Rasmus Larsen,S. Li,Swagata Mukherjee,Hiroshi Ohno,Peter Petreczky,Hauke Sandmeyer,Christian Schmidt,Sayantan Sharma,P. Steinbrecher +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the results for pseudo-critical temperatures of QCD chiral crossovers at zero and non-zero values of baryon (B), strangeness (S), electric charge (Q), and isospin (I) chemical potentials were obtained using lattice QCD calculations carried out with two degenerate up and down dynamical quarks and a dynamical strange quark, with quark masses corresponding to physical values of pion and kaon masses in the continuum limit.

Thermodynamics of two flavor QCD to sixth order in quark chemical potential
Chris Allton,M. Doring,Shinji Ejiri,Simon Hands,Olaf Kaczmarek,Frithjof Karsch,Edwin Laermann,Krzysztof Redlich,Krzysztof Redlich +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present results of a simulation of two flavor QCD on a 16{sup 3}x4 lattice using p4-improved staggered fermions with bare quark mass m/T=0.4.

Static quark-antiquark interactions in zero and finite temperature QCD: I. Heavy quark free energies, running coupling, and quarkonium binding
Olaf Kaczmarek,F. Zantow +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the temperature dependence of the running coupling of a 2-flavor QCD at finite temperature and the corresponding heavy quark potential at zero temperature, and showed that the characteristic length scale below which running coupling shows almost no temperature dependence is almost twice as large as the Debye screening radius.

The transition temperature in QCD
M. Cheng,Norman H. Christ,S. Datta,J. van der Heide,C. K. Jung,Frithjof Karsch,Frithjof Karsch,Olaf Kaczmarek,Edwin Laermann,Robert D. Mawhinney,C. Miao,Peter Petreczky,K. Petrov,Christian Schmidt,Takashi Umeda +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the transition temperature in QCD with two light and one heavier quark mass on lattices with temporal extent N_t =4 and 6.457(7) was calculated.
