Tailor layered tube hydroforming for fabricating tubular parts with dissimilar thickness
TL;DR: In this paper, a tailor layered tube (TLT) hydroforming process is proposed to fabricate hollow tubular parts with dissimilar thicknesses by using TLTs without welding.

Analysis on selective laser melting of WC-reinforced H13 steel composite powder by finite element method:
TL;DR: In this article, a three-dimensional finite element model for the selective laser melting process was developed to analyze the melting behavior of WC-reinforced H13 steel composite powder.

Control of Directed Energy Deposition Process to Obtain Equal-Height Rectangular Corner
TL;DR: In this article, a corner scanning-speed control algorithm was proposed to generate smooth and equal-height deposition, and the effect of the scanning speed, laser power, and powder feed rate on the bead deposition was investigated experimentally.

Flexible roll forming of double layered blank
TL;DR: In this paper, the formability of double layered blank which consists of aluminum layer and mild steel layer was compared with that of un-layered aluminum blank and mild steels blank, and the results showed that double-layer blank may have various merits such as high electrical conductivity, high corrosion resistivity, and high strength.

Characterization of the Laser Surface Nitriding of Ti-6Al-4V Alloys in Nitric Acid Solution and Nitrogen Gas Atmosphere
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared laser surface nitriding of Ti-6Al-4V alloys in a nitric acid solution and in a nitrogen gas atmosphere, and found that the hardness of the laser nitrided layer increases with increases in both the concentration of nitrogen and the energy density of the LiDAR.
