Human CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3+ regulatory T cells do not constitutively express IL-35.
Emilie Bardel,Frédérique Larousserie,Frédérique Larousserie,Pascaline Charlot-Rabiega,Aurore Coulomb-L'Hermine,Odile Devergne +5 more
TL;DR: In contrast to their murine counterpart, human Treg cells do not express detectable amounts of IL-35, and RT-PCR analysis showed that, whereas p35 transcripts were detected in both Teff and T Reg cells, EBI3 transcripts were detection only in activated Teff cells, but not in resting or activated Treg Cells.

Expression of IL-27 in human Th1-associated granulomatous diseases.
Frédérique Larousserie,Stefan Pflanz,Aurore Coulomb-L'Hermine,Nicole Brousse,R.A. Kastelein,Odile Devergne +5 more
TL;DR: Analysis of in situ expression of IL‐27 subunits in three types of granulomatous disease (tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, and Crohn's disease), each characterized by a Th1 response, supports a possible role for IL‐ 27 in human Th1 responses.

Timing of IFN-β Exposure during Human Dendritic Cell Maturation and Naive Th Cell Stimulation Has Contrasting Effects on Th1 Subset Generation: A Role for IFN-β-Mediated Regulation of IL-12 Family Cytokines and IL-18 in Naive Th Cell Differentiation
Taro Nagai,Odile Devergne,Thomas F. Mueller,David L. Perkins,Jean Maguire van Seventer,Gijs A. van Seventer +5 more
TL;DR: An in vitro model of monocyte-derived dendritic cell (DC)-dependent, human naive Th cell differentiation is developed, in which one can observe both positive and negative effects of IFN-β on the generation of Th1 cells.

Analysis of Interleukin-27 (EBI3/p28) Expression in Epstein-Barr Virus- and Human T-Cell Leukemia Virus Type 1-Associated Lymphomas : Heterogeneous Expression of EBI3 Subunit by Tumoral Cells
Frédérique Larousserie,Emilie Bardel,Stefan Pflanz,Bertrand Arnulf,Carmen Lome-Maldonado,Olivier Hermine,Laurence Brégeaud,Monique Perennec,Nicole Brousse,R.A. Kastelein,Odile Devergne +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-induced gene 3 (EBI3) and p28 were found to be upregulated in human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1)-infected cell lines and IL-2-dependent leukemic cells from adult T -cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATL) patients, compared to normal activated T cells.

Rapamycin Combined with TGF-β Converts Human Invariant NKT Cells into Suppressive Foxp3 + Regulatory Cells
Lúcia Moreira-Teixeira,Mariana Resende,Mariana Resende,Odile Devergne,Jean-Philippe Herbeuval,Olivier Hermine,Elke Schneider,Michel Dy,Anabela Cordeiro-da-Silva,Maria Leite-de-Moraes +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that human iNKT cells become suppressive in the presence of TGF-β plus rapamycin, thus adding a new facet to their complex functional properties.
