Neutron scattering from polarised proton domains
B. van den Brandt,H. Glättli,Isabelle Grillo,Patrick Hautle,Hélène Marie Jouve,J. Kohlbrecher,J. A. Konter,E. Leymarie,S. Mango,R. May,Heinrich Stuhrmann,O. Zimmer +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, time-dependent small-angle polarised neutron scattering from domains of polarised protons has been observed at the onset of dynamic nuclear polarisation in a frozen solution of 98% deuterated glycerol-water at 1 K containing a small concentration of paramagnetic centres (EHBA-CrV).

Creating local contrast in small-angle neutron scattering by dynamic nuclear polarization
B. van den Brandt,H. Glattli,Patrick Hautle,Joachim Kohlbrecher,J. A. Konter,Andreas Michels,Heinrich Stuhrmann,O. Zimmer +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the time constants which describe the build-up of polarization around the paramagnetic center and the subsequent diffusion of polarization in the solvent were determined by analysing the temporal evolution of the nuclear polarization.
An experimental approach to the dynamics of nuclear polarisation
B. van den Brandt,H. Glättli,Isabelle Grillo,Patrick Hautle,Hélène Marie Jouve,Joachim Kohlbrecher,J. A. Konter,E. Leymarie,S. Mango,R. May,Andreas Michels,Heinrich B. Stuhrmann,O. Zimmer +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments have shed new light on the mechanism of dynamic nuclear polarisation (DNP) by using time-resolved polarised small-angle neutron scattering and nuclear magnetic resonance.

B. van den Brandt,H. Glättli,Isabelle Grillo,Patrick Hautle,Hélène Marie Jouve,J. Kohlbrecher,J. A. Konter,E. Leymarie,S. Mango,R. May,Heinrich Stuhrmann,O. Zimmer +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on time-resolved small-angle polarised neutron scattering from domains of polarised protons created by dynamic nuclear polarisation in frozen deuterated glycerol-water solutions containing a small amount of paramagnetic centers.
Time-resolved nuclear spin-dependent small-angle neutron scattering from polarised proton domains in deuterated solutions
B. van den Brandt,H. Glättli,Isabelle Grillo,Patrick Hautle,Hélène Marie Jouve,Joachim Kohlbrecher,J. A. Konter,E. Leymarie,S. Mango,R. May,Andreas Michels,Heinrich Stuhrmann,O. Zimmer +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the process of dynamic proton polarisation by means of time-resolved polarised small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) on frozen solutions of EHBA-CrV molecules in glycerol-water mixtures was investigated.
