Advances in Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope Cathodoluminescence
Sophie Meuret,Luiz H. G. Tizei,Arthur Losquin,Romain Bourrellier,Luiz Fernando Zagonel,Marcel Tence,Alberto Zobelli,O. Stéphan,Mathieu Kociak +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a combination of nanometer-resolved electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) and cathodoluminescence (CL) measurements was used to investigate plasmon modes of the exact same individual gold nanoprisms.

Electrodynamic response of carbon nanostructures in electron-energy-loss spectroscopy
Philippe Lambin,Luc Henrard,D. Taverna,Mathieu Kociak,O. Stéphan,Christian Colliex +5 more
- 27 Oct 2003
TL;DR: A short review of electron-energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) experiments of carbon nanotubes and onions is presented in this article, where the dielectric response function of these nanostructures is derived from electrodynamics.

Viktor Myroshnychenko,F. J. García de Abajo,Guillaume Boudarham,Jaysen Nelayah,O. Stéphan,Mathieu Kociak,Christian Colliex,A.I. Denisyuk,Giorgio Adamo,Kevin F. MacDonald,Nikolay I. Zheludev,Jessica Rodríguez-Fernández,Enrique Carbó-Argibay,Luis M. Liz-Marzán +13 more
- 01 Jan 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, the rich structure of SP modes localized in individual noble-metal nanoparticles prepared via lithography or colloidal chemistry is explored by optical spectroscopy, spatially resolved electron energy-loss spectroopy (EELS) performed in a scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM), and by electron beam-induced radiation emission performed in scanning electron microscope.
