Preventing post-stroke dementia. The MARCH Trial. Protocol and statistical analysis plan of a randomized clinical trial testing the safety and efficacy of Maraviroc in post-stroke cognitive impairment
Einor Ben Assayag,Jeremy Molad,Estelle Seyman,O. Rotschild,Ehud Zeltzer,Udi Sadeh-Gonik,Noa Bregman,Aviva Alpernas,Yahel Segal,Dafna Ben Bashat,Talya A. Nathan,Muhamad Hawwari,Oren Tene,Hen Hallevi +13 more
TL;DR: This study will test safety and effectiveness of Maraviroc in limiting cognitive deterioration and/or post stroke cognitive impairment in patients with cerebral small vessel disease.

CCR5‐Δ32 polymorphism—a possible protective factor from gait impairment amongst post‐stroke patients
Jeremy Molad,Hen Hallevi,Estelle Seyman,O. Rotschild,Natan M. Bornstein,Oren Tene,Nir Giladi,Jeffrey M. Hausdorff,Anat Mirelman,Einor Ben Assayag +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors examined whether loss-of-function mutation in the C-C chemokine receptor 5 gene (CCR5−Δ32) is a protective factor in post-stroke motor and cognitive recovery.

Prognosis and Outcome of Cerebral Sinus Venous Thrombosis—A Multicenter Cohort Study
Naaem Simaan,Asaf Honig,Hen Hallevi,Estelle Seyman,O. Rotschild,Einor Ben Assayag,Andrei Filioglo,Shlomi Peretz,Rom Mendel,Rani Barnea,Eitan Auriel,S. Aladdin,David Orion,Khalil Darawsha,Fadi Shbat,Ronen R. Leker,Jeremy Molad +16 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors identify predictors for outcome among CSVT patients, including malignancy, focal neurological deficits, and absence of headache at presentation, which are associated with unfavorable outcomes.
Endovascular thrombectomy is beneficial for functional nonagenarians - a multicenter cohort analysis.
O. Rotschild,Asaf Honig,Hen Hallevi,Anat Horev,Estelle Seyman,Einor Ben-Assayag,Tali Jonas-Kimchi,Udi Sadeh,José E. Cohen,Ronen R. Leker,Jeremy Molad +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the safety and efficacy of endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) in nonagenarians compared to younger patients and showed that nonagenarian stroke patients with baseline mRS of 3 or less benefit from EVT with no significant difference in the rate of favorable outcome compared to octogenarians.

The pivotal role of timing of intravenous thrombolysis bridging treatment prior to endovascular thrombectomy
Jeremy Molad,Hen Hallevi,Estelle Seyman,Einor Ben-Assayag,Tali Jonas-Kimchi,Udi Sadeh,O. Rotschild,Naaem Simaan,Anat Horev,José E. Cohen,Ronen R. Leker,Asaf Honig +11 more
TL;DR: OTD times to have a significant effect on the impact of IVT bridging treatment among patients with OTD < 2 h bridging treatment may be associated with higher rates of successful recanalization, and in patients with OTD > 2 h, bridging treatment was associated with worse outcomes.
