TL;DR: Based on the IRT analysis and factor analytic evidence, the knowledge and attitude sections of the KABP questionnaire on leptospirosis were psychometrically valid, however, the psychometric properties of the belief section were unsatisfactory, despite being revised after the initial validation study.

Staphylococcus aureus in food and nares of food handlers in Kuala Pilah, Malaysia
TL;DR: There is a need for proper training on food safety among food handlers and quality improvement in the food premises, as the findings suggest that the prevalence of S. aureus carriage is high amongfood handlers and food items.

Extremely low prevalence of intestinal cryptosporidiosis and hygienic practices among hospitalized children with malignancies in Malaysia: A preliminary observation

TL;DR: A prospective cross-sectional study among 110 patients hospitalized for chemotherapy and 100 healthy children (used as controls) between November 2009 and January 2011 at Institute of Paediatrics, Malaysia was conducted to determine the prevalence of cryptosporidiosis and elucidate contributing factors that might influence its transmission in our children with cancer as mentioned in this paper.
