Energy-Efficient Resource Allocation in Multi-UAV-Assisted Two-Stage Edge Computing for Beyond 5G Networks.
TL;DR: This work investigates a multiple UAVs-assisted two-stage MEC system in which the computation-intensive and delay-sensitive tasks of mobile devices are cooperatively executed on both MEC-enabled UAV's and terrestrial base station (TBS) attached with the MEC server.

Multi-UAV-Assisted MEC System: Joint Association and Resource Management Framework
Nway Nway Ei,Seok Won Kang,Madyan Alsenwi,Yan Kyaw Tun,Choong Seon Hong +4 more
- 13 Jan 2021
TL;DR: In this article, a joint device association, task assignment and computing resource allocation problem was formulated to minimize the energy consumption of mobile devices and UAVs by considering the energy budget and available computing resources at the UAV, and task completion deadline constraints.

UAV-Assisted Multi-Access Edge Computing System: An Energy-Efficient Resource Management Framework
Madyan Alsenwi,Yan Kyaw Tun,Shashi Raj Pandey,Nway Nway Ei,Choong Seon Hong +4 more
- 01 Jan 2020
TL;DR: The objective of this work is to minimize the energy consumption of IoTDs, including local computation energy and uplink transmission energy, and UAV energy consumption, and the proposed approach significantly saves the system power consumption compared to other existing schemes.

Cost and Latency Tradeoff in Mobile Edge Computing: A Distributed Game Approach
Chit Wutyee Zaw,Nway Nway Ei,Han Yeo Reum Im,Yan Kyaw Tun,Choong Seon Hong +4 more
- 01 Feb 2019
TL;DR: A distributed algorithm is proposed for the resource allocation as Generalized Nash Equilibrium Problem because users' strategies are conflicted with one another when they compete for the resources from the resources pool at the BS.

Cell Association in Energy-Constrained Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Communications Under Altitude Consideration
Nway Nway Ei,Chit Wutyee Zaw,Min Kyung Lee,Choong Seon Hong +3 more
- 01 Jan 2019
TL;DR: The total transmit power of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) which are deployed as aerial base stations is minimized by adjusting the altitudes of different UAVs by exploiting convex optimization and finding the optimal altitude of each UAV under its QoS constraints.
