Supercritical-fluid cell with device of variable optical path length giving fringe-free terahertz spectra
Ken-ichi Saitow,Keiko Nishikawa,Hideyuki Ohtake,Nobuhiko Sarukura,Hiroshi Miyagi,Yuji Shimokawa,Hitoshi Matsuo,Keisuke Tominaga +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an optical cell suitable for supercritical fluids was constructed for measurements of far infrared absorption spectra with terahertz radiation as a light source, which was designed to withstand temperature up to 400 K and pressure up to 15 MPa.

Laser energy absorption coefficient and in-situ temperature measurement of laser-melted tungsten
Takeru Maeji,Kenzo Ibano,Satoru Yoshikawa,D. Inoue,S. Kuroyanagi,Kazuyuki Mori,Eiji Hoashi,Kohei Yamanoi,Nobuhiko Sarukura,Yoshio Ueda +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the energy absorption coefficient of tungsten surface (W) for 1064nm Nd:YAG laser was measured as a function of the induced energy, and two noncontact surface temperature measurement diagnostics, a pyrometer measurement and a two-dimensional (2D) temperature measurement, were constructed for the laser-melted W spot.
