Thromboxane A2 receptor antagonist SQ29548 reduces ischemic stroke-induced microglia/macrophages activation and enrichment, and ameliorates brain injury
Aijuan Yan,Tingting Zhang,Xiao Yang,Jiaxiang Shao,Ningzhen Fu,Fanxia Shen,Yi Fu,Weiliang Xia +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of TXA2R on microglia/macrophages activation after ischemia/reperfusion brain injury in mice was explored, where SQ29548 was administered twice to the ipsilateral ventricle (10μl, 2.6μm, per dose).

Abnormal blood pressure circadian rhythms are relevant to cerebral infarction and Leukoaraiosis in hypertensive patients
TL;DR: RD and ND BP circadian rhythms might not only be relevant to the onset of ACI but also correlate with the severity of leukoaraiosis, and not merely the BP level, should warrant more attention when modulating BP with antihypertensive drugs.
The Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms of Chromosome 9p21 and CD147 Were Relevant with the Carotid Plaque Risk in Acute Cerebral Infarction Patients Among Chinese Han Population
TL;DR: Age, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein, systolic blood pressure, fasting serum glucose, and NIHSS score are associated with plaque formation, and mutations of SNP rs10757274 and rs4977574 in chromosome 9p21 together with SNP rs4919862 located in gene CD147 were highly relevant with the carotid plague formation in acute cerebral ischemia patients.

TP53 missense mutation reveals gain-of-function properties in small-sized KRAS transformed pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
Yiran Zhou,Jiabin Jin,Yuchen Ji,Jiaqiang Zhang,Ningzhen Fu,Mengmin Chen,Jun Wang,Kai Qin,Yu Jiang,Dongfeng Cheng,Xiaxing Deng,Baiyong Shen +11 more
TL;DR: TP53 missense mutation was associated with poor tumor differentiation, and revealed gain-of-function properties in small-sized KRAS transformed PDAC, highlighting the neoadjuvant therapy before surgery as the potential optimized strategy for the treatment of a subset of patients.
