Investigation on the mechanical properties and environmental impacts of pervious concrete containing fly ash based on the cement-aggregate ratio
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented an adequate experimental investigation on the influences of the cement-aggregate ratio (C/A, by mass) on porosity, compressive strength of pervious concrete samples and determined an optimum C/A for higher compressive power.

Optical and durability performance of near-infrared reflective coatings for cool pavement: Laboratorial investigation
TL;DR: In this article, the orthogonal experimental design method combining the multi-index integrated evaluation method (MIEM) and the single index balanced evaluation (SBEM) were applied to optimize the formula of coatings with superior comprehensive performance.

Life cycle carbon emissions from road infrastructure in China: A region-level analysis
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors quantified the carbon emissions currently and analyzed the trend and characteristics of carbon emissions of road infrastructure from 2020 to 2060 through four scenarios, showing that carbon emissions fluctuate between 20 kt and 540 kt CO2 from 2013 to 2019 and increase significantly in 2014 due to the surge in road mileage.

Effects of accelerated weathering on the optical characteristics of reflective coatings for cool pavement
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of weathering on the performance of reflective cool pavement coatings was investigated and the authors determined the accelerated weathering periods through the combined accelerated factor calculation considering single factor of temperature, moisture and ultraviolet radiation.

Purification effect on runoff pollution of porous concrete with nano-TiO2 photocatalytic coating
TL;DR: In this paper, a kind of photocatalytic water purification pavement coated with nano-TiO2 was developed, which could improve the performance of porous concrete, and the results showed that the removal rates of COD, TP and NH3-N could reach 50%, 60% and 40%, respectively.
