Interleukin-17A contributes to atrial fibrillation recurrence and left atrial reservoir function after catheter ablation.
TL;DR: Blood samples were taken from patients on the morning of CA, the next day after CA, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months af‐ ter CA, and following symptom recurrence.
A multiscale computational framework to evaluate flow alterations during mechanical thrombectomy for treatment of ischaemic stroke
Ivan Benemerito,Ahmed H A Mustafa,Ning Wang,Ana Paula Narata,Andrew J. Narracott,Alberto Marzo +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a multiscale computational framework is presented to simulate mechanical thrombectomy (MT) procedures and the results show the advantage of using balloon guide catheters (BGC) during MT and indicate small differences between positioning the aspiration catheter in proximal or distal locations.
His-Purkinje system pacing reduced tricuspid regurgitation in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation after left-sided valve surgery
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of HPSP on tricuspid regurgitation in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation after left-sided valve surgery was investigated.

Quantitative evaluation of myocardial layer-specific strain using two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography among young adults with essential hypertension in China.
TL;DR: In all the adults with hypertension, young adults were associated with higher peak systolic longitudinal strain values compared with older adults, but the small differences of LS may be meaningless in clinical settings.
