Path-Loss-Based Fingerprint Localization Approach for Location-Based Services in Indoor Environments
TL;DR: This paper considers the resource limitations of todays’ wireless environment and proposes an improved fingerprint-based localization approach that adapts a path loss model for fingerprint creation and localization, and presents two related localization schemes that improve the positioning precision and reliability in resource-limited environments.

Pilot study on wideband sound absorber obtained by adopting a serial-parallel coupling manner
TL;DR: In this paper, a series-parallel coupled MPP absorber array is proposed and investigated to obtain high absorption over broad frequency band, and the experimental data are in agreement with the theoretical calculation and prove that the composite structure has the characteristics of broadening the absorption bandwidth through a combination of serial and parallel coupling, which may provide a new technique to improve the absorption performance of such type of MPP absorbbers.
