Microstructure and hardness evolution induced by annealing of ion irradiated LiTaO3
Yong Liu,Jian Liang Sun,Xinqing Han,Qing Huang,Eva Zarkadoula,Miguel L. Crespillo,Ning Gao,Xinyue Wang,Peng Liu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the evolution of the microstructure and mechanical properties of low-energy heavy-ion-irradiated LiTaO3 crystals annealed at various temperatures was investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations and nanoindentation tests to extend the applications of irradiated LTAO3.

Diffusion-assisted growth of periodic patterns on metal surfaces
Wei Qian,Pengfei Zheng,Ning Gao,Wahyu Setyawan,Peng Chen,Xing Liu,Yang Liu,Liangting Sun,Ming Yu Liu,Tong Che,Ran Wei,Jiming Chen +11 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper demonstrated that atom diffusion accelerated by low energy and high flux exposures is the dominant mechanism for pattern formation on tungsten surfaces, which may provide a new understanding of pattern formation.
Displacement cascades database from molecular dynamic simulations in tungsten
Lixia Liu,Rongyang Qiu,Yangchun Chen,Ming Qian Jiang,Ning Gao,Bowen Huang,Fei Gao,Wangyu Hu,Huiqiu Deng +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors carried out a series of displacement cascade simulations in tungsten (W), including seven different primary-knock-on-atom (PKA) directions, and PKA energy covers 1 to 300 keV at 363 K; 10, 50, 100, and 200 keV cascades are considered at 600 K, and 10 and 50 keV cascade at 300 K.
