Understanding the key antecedents of users’ continuance intention in the context of smart factory

The study investigates the determinants of mobile Internet banking adoption among Gen-Y in Malaysia. Align the issue of the study and research objectives, and the study underpinned Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the main guideline or a blueprint to analyze the research model. The study applied survey research design and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) under the PLS-SEM technique with SmartPLS 2.0. A total of 358 mobile internet banking users in Malaysia were random proportional selected as respondents and analyzed. Results from the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) revealed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, facilitating condition, and personal innovativeness in IT have significantly influenced the attitude of mobile internet banking adoption in Malaysia. Additionally, perceived ease of use and facilitating conditions found to have a significant influence on the perceived usefulness of Mobile Internet Banking. Lastly, facilitating conditions and personal innovativeness in IT are significantly influence the perceived ease of use of mobile internet banking among Gen-Y in Malaysia

The Role of Personal Innovativeness and Facilitating Conditions in Shaping the Attitudes of Mobile Internet Banking (MIB) Adoption among Generation Y in Malaysia

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in human behaviour, including payment transaction methods from cash to non-cash. In addition, the National Non-Cash Program (GNTT) by Bank Indonesia (BI) also supports this new behaviour. This non-cash payment also occurs in donation payments, including zakat, infaq, alms and other Islamic social funds. This research analyses the factors influencing user behaviour (UB) towards the online donation from cash to non-cash. This study uses quantitative research within Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) tools. The data of this study is compiled by questionnaire on 124 respondents in East Java who made online donations during the Covid-19 pandemic (March 2020 – 2021). This research uses a technology adaptation model that is the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) model using the facilitating conditions (FC), performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE) and social influence (SI) variables. The results of this study indicate that (a) FC has a positive and significant effect on PE and SI, (b) PE and SI have a positive and significant effect on EE, and (3) PE and SI have a positive and significant effect on UB. Meanwhile, ease of donating online (Effort Expectancy) does not provide influence user behaviour of online donations. In addition, recommendations are also given to online donation organisations to improve collaboration, credibility and use of promotion media. 

Factors influence online donation during COVID-19 pandemic

Millennials have dominated the use of e-commerce. They tend to have characters with lower levels of loyalty to products or services. This will be a problem if e-commerce companies are unable to read the personal characteristics of its users. Millennials users are known to have innovativeness which is explained in their enjoyment of learning new systems. This perception also reflected through their assumptions about ease of use and usefulness of an e-commerce platforms. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived compatibility and perceived innovativeness to e-loyalty through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on millennials e-commerce users. Data are collected from 217 millennial customer’s using purposive sampling method. Path analysis were done using SPSS Statistics 22. The results revealed both of perceived compatibility and perceived innovativeness affected e-loyalty significantly through perceived usefulness. The results of this study shows that ease of use does not necessarily make users loyal, because there are several other important factors such as price, promotion, service quality.

Predicting Millennials E-Loyalty Through Compatibility and Innovativeness on E-Commerce

With the development of Internet technology and the impact of COVID-19, many people are switching from offline platforms to online platforms. Electronic coupons issued by merchants are also growing in popularity. The issue of electronic vouchers makes it more convenient for consumers to shop and provides consumers with more choices. This paper aims to analyze the influence of electronic coupons on consumers' purchasing power. Data were collected 162 GrabFood users’ questionnaires via Google Forms. This study examined whether perceived ease of use, trust, convenience, coupon proneness, social influence, price, and attitude affect consumers’ purchasing power. The findings indicate a positive correlation between purchasing power and factors such as perceived ease of use, trust, price, and attitude. Notably, price exerts the most significant influence on consumers’ purchasing power, followed by attitude. The study reveals that perceived ease of use and social influence play roles in shaping consumers’ purchase intentions through their attitudes. In the context of Grab food, enhancing the ease of use and increasing promotional activities on its social platforms can enhance consumer attitudes towards e-coupons.
