Direct Correlation of Single-Particle Motion to Amorphous Microstructural Components of Semicrystalline Poly(ethylene oxide) Electrolytic Films.
Trevor D. Roberts,Rongfeng Yuan,Limin Xiang,Milan Delor,Ravi Pokhrel,Ke Yang,Emad Aqad,Tomas Marangoni,Peter Trefonas,Ke Xu,Naomi S. Ginsberg +10 more
TL;DR: This study uses superlocalized widefield single-particle tracking in conjunction with AFM phase imaging to correlate the crystalline morphology of lithium-triflate-doped poly(ethylene oxide) thin films to the motion of individual fluorescent probes at the nanoscale, demonstrating how controlled and periodic arrangement of crystalline domains is a promising design principle for mass transport in semicrystalline polymer materials without compromising their mechanical stability.

Static Disorder has Dynamic Impact on Energy Transport in Biomimetic Light-Harvesting Complexes
Leo M. Hamerlynck,Amanda J. Bischoff,Julia R. Rogers,Trevor D. Roberts,Jing Dai,Phillip L. Geissler,Matthew B. Francis,Naomi S. Ginsberg +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a biomimetic light-harvesting complex consisting of identical chromophores attached in a circular array to a protein scaffold derived from the tobacco mosaic virus coat protein was investigated.

Resolving Enhanced Mn2+ Luminescence near the Surface of CsPbCl3 with Time-Resolved Cathodoluminescence Imaging.
Rebecca B. Wai,Namrata Ramesh,Clarice D. Aiello,Jonathan G. Raybin,Steven E. Zeltmann,Connor G. Bischak,Edward S. Barnard,Shaul Aloni,D. Frank Ogletree,Andrew M. Minor,Naomi S. Ginsberg +10 more
TL;DR: Enhanced Mn2+ luminescence at the edges of Mn2-doped CsPbCl3 perovskite microplates is observed and an explanation for its origin is suggested using the high spatiotemporal resolution of time-resolved cathodoluminescence (TRCL) imaging.

Universal imaging of material functionality through nanoscale tracking of energy flow
Milan Edouard Delor,Hannah L. Weaver,QinQin Yu,Naomi S. Ginsberg +3 more
- 25 May 2018
TL;DR: In this paper, a non-invasive optical scheme was developed to track energy transport in four dimensions of spacetime with few-nanometer precision and directly correlate it to material morphology.

Resolving ultrafast exciton migration in organic solids at the nanoscale
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors defined quenching boundaries all-optically with sub-diffraction resolution, thus characterizing spatiotemporal exciton migration on its native nanometre and picosecond scales.
