Indications and outcomes of excimer laser coronary atherectomy: Efficacy and safety for thrombotic lesions—The ULTRAMAN registry
Masami Nishino,Naoki Mori,Shin Takiuchi,Daisuke Shishikura,Naofumi Doi,Toru Kataoka,Takayuki Ishihara,Noriyuki Kinoshita +7 more
TL;DR: High success rates were achieved in both the RT and PT groups, but the TIMI flow grade and blush score were significantly lower and the complications rate was significantly higher in the RT group (n=181).

Predictors and outcomes of neoatherosclerosis in patients with in-stent restenosis.
Daisuke Nakamura,Tomoharu Dohi,Takayuki Ishihara,Atsushi Kikuchi,Naoki Mori,Kensuke Yokoi,Tatsuya Shiraki,Isamu Mizote,Toshiaki Mano,Yoshiharu Higuchi,Takahisa Yamada,Masami Nishino,Yasushi Sakata +12 more
TL;DR: In the multicenter ISR registry, OCT imaging demonstrated that eGFR, the time from the PCI to the ISR and DES-ISR were independent predictors for neoatherosclerosis and neoat herosclerosis in ISR lesions had a worse impact on the CD-TLR.

Higher serum uric acid and lipoprotein(a) are correlated with coronary spasm.
Masami Nishino,Naoki Mori,Takahiro Yoshimura,Daisuke Nakamura,Yasuharu Lee,Masayuki Taniike,Nobuhiko Makino,Hiroyasu Kato,Yasuyuki Egami,Ryu Shutta,Jun Tanouchi,Yoshio Yamada +11 more
TL;DR: Uric acid and lipoprotein(a) are correlated with VSA, and medical intervention to decrease uric acid and Lipoprotein (a) might be effective in controlling VSA.

External Validation of the ORBIT Bleeding Score and the HAS-BLED Score in Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation Patients Using Direct Oral Anticoagulants (Asian Data from the DIRECT Registry).
TL;DR: The ORBIT bleeding score and the HAS-BLED score in a real-world of NVAF population with DOACs showed a modest discriminative performance and a similar predictive performance for major bleeding.

Comparison of Angiographic and 1-Year Outcomes Between a Long Single Stent and Overlapping Double Stents in Patients With Newer-Generation Drug-Eluting Stents for Long Narrowings
Naoki Mori,Naotaka Okamoto,Akihiro Tanaka,Masamichi Yano,Nobuhiko Makino,Yasuyuki Egami,Ryu Shutta,Yasushi Sakata,Jun Tanouchi,Masami Nishino +9 more
TL;DR: Comparing angiographic and 1-year clinical outcomes between a long single stent (LSS) and overlapping double stents (ODS) in patients treated with newer-generation DES for similarly long narrowings found everolimus-eluting stent provided similar angiography and 1 year clinical outcomes regardless of overlap status in long narrowing.
