Necessity of Low Melting Temperature Pb-free Solder Alloy and Characteristics of Representative Alloys
Jong-Hyun Lee,Namhyun Kang,Chang-Woo Lee,Jeong-Han Kim +3 more
- 18 Jul 2006
TL;DR: For example, RoHS as discussed by the authors uses PBB (Polybromide Biphenyl), PBDE(Polybramerinated Diphenyl Ether) and PBDE (Pb-free) to improve the performance of RoHS.

The weldability study of carbon nanotube based 2nd generation primer coated steel for automotive applications
Vijeesh Vijayan,Nazmul Huda,Siva Prasad Murugan,Chanyoung Jeong,Noh Seungman,Namhyun Kang,Yeong-Do Park +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the resistance spot weldability of the CNT added primer coating and compared it with the 1st generation primer for nugget size and electrode life, and found that the 2nd generation primer coating with additives such as CNT showed dominance in corrosion protection properties along with zinc.

Hydrogen Embrittlement Resistance and Diffusible Hydrogen Desorption Behavior of Multipass FCA Weld Metals
Jaeseok Yoo,Guo Xian,Myungjin Lee,Yongdeok Kim,Namhyun Kang +4 more
- 31 Dec 2013
TL;DR: In this paper, a constant loading test (CLT) was performed to evaluate the hydrogen embrittlement resistance for multipass FCA weld metals of 600MPa tensile strength grade, which showed the microstructures of grain boundary ferrite, widmanstatten ferrite and the large amount of bainite (vol.%=19%) in the acicular ferrite matrix.
Laser Cladding Technology in Overlay Welding
Namhyun Kang,Yeon-Gon Yoo +1 more
- 26 Mar 2007
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the effect of hardening and alloying on the performance of the cladding process, and propose a new approach to improve hardening performance.
