TL;DR: In this paper, the numerical solution of the generalized Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation is presented by meshless method of lines (MOL) giving an edge over finite difference method (FDM) and finite element method(FEM) because no mesh is required for discretization of the problem domain.

Meshless Method of Lines for Numerical Solution of Kawahara Type Equations
TL;DR: In this article, an algorithm based on method of lines coupled with radial basis functions is presented for the numerical solution of Kawahara, modified Kawhara, and KdV Kawhaara equations, where the results are compared with the exact solution and with the results in the relevant literature to show the efficiency of the method.
