Strong DC electric field formation in the low latitude ionosphere over typhoons
TL;DR: In this paper, a further development of the electrodynamic model of strong electric field formation in the ionosphere above the regions of tropical storm and typhoon origin and its comparison with new experimental results obtained from the satellite observations of DC electric field and plasma density variations over such regions.
Disturbance of the Electric Field in the Ionosphere by Sea Storms and Typhoons
TL;DR: The results of detecting quasi-stationary electric fields onboard the Kosmos-1809 satellite and observing sea storms and typhoons are jointly analyzed in this article, where an amplification of the electric field in the low-latitude ionosphere was detected.

Control of the energy of ion flow affecting electrically insulated surface in plasma processing reactor based on a beam plasma discharge
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compare two ways to control the distribution function of ions on the isolated structure which is treated in a plasma reactor based on beam plasma discharge, and show that the second method provides more efficient control of the distribution functions of ions acting on the treated substrate.

Ion flows from a beam-plasma discharge
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of measurements of the energy distribution function of ions escaping from a beam-plasma discharge are compared with the data from probe measurements in the discharge region, and it is shown that, on the discharge axis, there is a region with a higher degree of ionization, whose position depends on the external parameters, in particular on the gas pressure.

TL;DR: In this article, a modification of the plasma-chemical reactor based on beam-plasma discharge is developed for the deposition of carbon (including diamond-like carbon (DLC)) films.
