TL;DR: Observations identify Bcl-xL as a key protein in cell death resistance of CCA and may pave the way for clinical application, as well as indicating a prognostic value of Bcl -xL in CCA depending on the CCA subtype.

TL;DR: This study demonstrates a prognostically relevant, etiology-independent and cross-species consistent activation of a LTβ/LTβR/RELB axis in hepatocarcinogenesis and may harbor broad implications for HCC, including possible clinical exploitation.

TL;DR: This study reveals that the LTβ/NIK/RelB axis drives proliferation in cholangiocarcinoma by activating the non-canonical NF-κB pathway, and inhibiting NIK suppresses RelB expression, suggesting a potential therapeutic target for this aggressive malignancy.
