TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed two-dimensional diagnostics for steady-state plasma in the large helical device (LHD) through domestic and international collaborations, including tangential cameras (fast SX TV, photon counting CCD, Hα TV); tomography (tangential SX CCD); imaging (bolometer, ECE, reflectometer).
Application of tomographic imaging to photodiode arrays in large helical device
TL;DR: In this article, two 20-channel absolute x-ray ultraviolet photodiode (AXUVD) cameras are used on the large helical device for measuring the two-dimensional radiation distribution.

Effects of relativistic frequency downshift on measurements of electron cyclotron emission in Large Helical Device plasma
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of relativistic down shift frequency on the determination of the electron temperature profile from electron cyclotron emission (ECE) in a large helical device (LHD) have been studied by a numerical calculation.

TL;DR: In this article, the measurement of electron density and temperature from electron cyclotron emission (ECE) was studied using a numerical calculation taking into account the relativistic effect. But the measurement was not applicable for various electron density profiles in tokamak.
