Physico-mechanical and thermal properties of composite mortars containing lightweight aggregates of expanded polyvinyl chloride
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the physico-mechanical and thermal properties of lightweight composite mortars based on expanded polyvinyl chloride (LMEPVC), in which the natural sand are replaced by lightweight aggregates from expanded PVC sheets, with different volume proportions (0, 15, 25, 50 and 75%v).

TL;DR: In this paper, a physicochemical and mineralogical characterization of the two vases was performed to reveal the one closest to the standards recommended for the manufacture of the baked bricks, and the results gave a satisfaction in mechanical strength and durability for a firing temperature of 850 ° C and a percentage of water of 20%.
Properties of a new material based on a gypsum matrix incorporating waste brick
TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental study was conducted to examine the influence of the waste brick content on the physical and mechanical properties of the gypsum mortar, and the results showed that the adhesion strengths in the mortars are more important when the substrate is made from limestone with the regard to the substrate made with brick.

Genetic programming for bricks chemical analysis modelling
TL;DR: This study tackles the problem of choosing the mud samples from dredging the Algerian dams in particular and the choice of clay that comes from different deposits and proposes an approach for sampling using a computer optimization model that allows solving and optimizing a characterization to retain the best adapted sample (chemically) using the genetic algorithm.

The HYBRIDIZATION APPARATUS FOR A NEW CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF THE DREDGING SLUDGE: CASE OF THE BOUHANIFIA DAM
TL;DR: In this paper, the use of the Electre III multi-criteria method, developed in hybridization with the Genetic Algorithm, is recommended, which makes it possible to establish a ranking of the different parameters, within a set of potential actions constituting a range of possible solutions for the choice of the best chemical composition of the mud from the dredging of the Bouhanifia dam.
