TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated transverse wobbling in the Eu151 nucleus by populating the excited states using Nd148(Li7, 4n)Eu151 at a beam energy of 30 MeV.

Microscopic aspects of γ softness in atomic nuclei
Nazir Akhmad Nazir,S. Jehangir,S. P. Rouoof,G. H. Bhat,J.A. Sheikh,N.A. Rather,S. Frauendorf +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors demonstrate that admixing a few quasiparticle excitations into the vacuum configuration with a fixed triaxiality parameter provides a quantitative description of the shape fluctuations of the $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-soft nucleus.

TL;DR: In this paper , a systematic analysis of the $B(E2)$ transitions is performed for thirty nuclei using the triaxial projected shell model (TPSM) approach, and the TPSM predicted values for both energies and transition are shown to be in good agreement with the corresponding experimental values.
