The influence of profitability and leverage to company values with divident policies as intervening variable (in lq 45 company listed in bei period of 2012-2016)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of return on equity (ROE), debt to equity ratio (DER) and price earnings ratio (PER) on stock prices. The population using the food and beverage sub-sector companies for the 2016-2020 period amounted to 38 companies and the sample obtained was 14 companies using purposive sampling technique. The analysis in this study uses descriptive statistics, while the hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a simultaneous influence between ROE, DER, and PER on stock prices. Partially ROE and PER have a positive and significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, DER has a negative and significant effect on stock prices.

Increased numbers of policy tools related to sustainable finance has encourage investors to consider the factor of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) in their investment decisions, which has also became one of the main drivers of the recent surge of assets under management (AUM) of global and Indonesian ESGs. This study analyzes the influence of ESG factors on the performance of stocks by using fixed effect model as well as analyzing the perception of investor to ESG as an indicator to determine investment by using the survey method. The results of the study show that the ESG value has a positive influence on the stock performance which was proxied by the value of the market capitalization. Of the three ESG factors, only social factors that have a positive and significant influence on stock performance. Based on the survey results, individual and institusional investors in Indonesia already have a good understanding of ESG; have high interest in ESG; and has allocated their investment towards ESG stocks. In addition, the factor that investors are considered the most in their investment decisions are carbon emissions and waste management in environmental factors; social impact on social factors; and reputation on the governance factors.

ESG Leverage towards Stock Performance in Indonesia Stock Exchange

This study aims to analyze the effect of specific faktor (profitability, leverage, EPS)  and makroeconomic factor (inflation , PDB) on the variable stock price. Using the financial reports of mining companies in the coal company, we take specific factor data (profitability/ROA, leverage/DER), EPS), Macroeconomic factor (Inflation, PDB) and stock price (closing price) from 10 companies, which were selected as samples, from 2011 to 2020. Data was analyzed using the Regression analysis panel data method. The results show that ROA, DER, EPS, Inflation, PDB affect changes in stock prices.  The implication of this research is to provide knowledge to investors about the importance of knowing the company’s financial performance. Companies with good financial performance will easily develop because there are sufficient funds for company operations. By analyzing financial ratios, investors can get signals to decide whether to invest in the company they want.

Fluktuasi Harga Saham Batu Bara: Peran Faktor Spesifik dan Makroekonomi

The goal of this study is to look at the impact of liquidity, profitability, and also solvency towards the stock prices in manufacturing businesses issued on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) starting from 2018 to 2020, utilizing Earnings per Share (EPS) as a moderating variable. In order to gain samples for the research, we used descriptive quantitative with purposive sampling technique. The data collected contains 210 samples, including 70 manufacturing enterprises that were listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2020. Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) is used in conjunction with EViews 10 software to process the data. MRA is used to model the case because in MRA, the regression equation contains interaction element between variables to know if the effect of a moderating variable is getting stronger or weaker. The findings reveal that both liquidity and profitability brings a advantageous and large impact towards stock prices, whereas solvency and EPS have a negative and minor impact, and that EPS can mitigate the impact of profitability, liquidity, and solvency in relation to stock prices. This study's implications include the need to enhance a company's performance and financial situation so that its financial statements are sound and stock prices rise, which is, of course, a good sign for investors.

Factors Affecting Stock Prices with EPS as Moderating Variable Among Manufacturing Companies

This study aims to analyze the effect of the ratio of profitability and solvability (leverage) on the variable stock price, which is mediated (intervening) by the variable dividend policy. Using the financial reports of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector, we take profitability data (ROA, ROE, GPM, and NPM), solvability data (DAR, LTDER, and DER), dividend policy (DPR), and stock price (closing price) from 24 companies, which were selected as samples, from 2011 to 2018. Data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results show that profitability, solvability, and dividend policy affect changes in stock prices, respectively. On the other hand, profitability and solvability do not affect dividend policy. The indirect relationship (intervening) is assessed using a single test, resulting in a dividend policy that can intervene in the relationship between profitability and stock prices but cannot mediate the relationship between solvability and stock prices. The implication of this research is to provide knowledge to investors about the importance of knowing the company's financial performance. Companies with good financial performance will easily develop because there are sufficient funds for company operations. By analyzing financial ratios, investors can get signals to decide whether to invest in the company they want.
