Spinal versus general anesthesia for lumbar spine surgery in high risk patients: Perioperative hemodynamic stability, complications and costs.
TL;DR: Lumbar spine surgery in cardiovascular high risk patients with SA is safe, allows good perioperative hemodynamic stability and might lead to lower health care costs and further prospective studies are needed to confirm these findings.

SalvGlandDx - a comprehensive salivary gland neoplasm specific next generation sequencing panel to facilitate diagnosis and identify therapeutic targets.
Sandra N. Freiberger,Muriel Brada,Christine Fritz,Sylvia Höller,Alexander Vogetseder,Milo Horcic,Michel Bihl,Michal Michal,Martin Lanzer,Martin Wartenberg,Urs Borner,Peter K. Bode,Martina A. Broglie,Tamara Rordorf,Grégoire B. Morand,Niels J. Rupp +15 more
TL;DR: SalvGlandDx as discussed by the authors is an all-in-one RNA-based next generation sequencing panel suitable for the detection of mutations, fusions and gene expression levels (including NR4A3) of 27 genes involved in salivary gland neoplasms.

Infiltrative growth pattern of prostate cancer is associated with lower uptake on PSMA PET and reduced diffusion restriction on mpMRI
Riccardo Laudicella,Jan H. Rüschoff,Daniela A. Ferraro,Muriel Brada,Daniel Hausmann,Iliana Mebert,Alexander Maurer,T. Hermanns,Daniel Eberli,Niels J. Rupp,Irene A. Burger +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a significant association was shown between novel growth patterns on histopathology of prostate cancer (PCa) and prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) uptake on [ 68 Ga]PSMA-PET.
Expanding the clinicopathological spectrum of TGFBR3-PLAG1 rearranged salivary gland neoplasms with myoepithelial differentiation including evidence of high-grade transformation
Niels J. Rupp,Sylvia Höller,Muriel Brada,Domenic Vital,Grégoire B. Morand,Grégoire B. Morand,Martina A. Broglie,Martin W. Huellner,Sandra N. Freiberger +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the clinicopathological features of three TGFBR3-PLAG1 fusion positive salivary gland neoplasms, all of which arose in the deep lobe of the parotid gland.
