This research was conducted to determine whether employer branding has a relationship with work engagement in a private company in the field of non-bank financing. The population of this research is the workers of a national private company engaged in the field of non-bank financing, especially the head office workers located in Jakarta. The number of samples of this study were 117 people, consisting of 62 men and 55 women with an age range of 20-67 years (Mean = 28.13; SD = 5.849). The method used is quantitative with stratified sampling technique. The research instrument used was the Employee Attractiveness Scale (EmpAt) (α = .956; 20 items). Whereas to measure the Work Engagement using Utrech Work Engagement Scale (UWES) (17 items; α = .896). The analysis carried out is a simple linear regression, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study found that Employer Branding had a significant positive effect on Work Engagement (F (1.115) = 50.333; β = .552, r = .552; R2 = .304; P <.001). Employer branding can be a strategy for companies to identify the needs of current and future workers, and build an image as a company of choice for work, so as to increase employee engagement with the company and its work.

Background: unplanned extubation (UE), which is defined as deliberate self-extubation by a patient receiving mechanical ventilation support or accidental extubation by staff nursing and medical procedures. Objective: assess the effect of accidental and selfextubation on mechanically ventilated patients' outcomes. Design: a descriptive research design was used in this study. Research question: what is the effect of accidental and self-extubation on mechanically ventilated patients' outcomes? Setting: This study was conducted in general and trauma intensive care units at Assuit University Hospital. Subjects: sixty critically ill patients attached with the endotracheal tube and mechanical ventilation Results: the majority of the studied critically ill patient had respiratory consequences after UE and statistically significant differences between self-extubation and accidental extubation patients regarding occurrences of aspiration and tachycardia on the first day. Conclusion: Unplanned extubation (UE) is a frequent event after endotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation (MV). Self-extubation is the most common type of UE and accidental removal of the tube is a very poor patient outcome and needs more aggressive management than patients with self-extubation.

Organizational Structure and Functioning in Tata Consulting Services

The objective of this study was to examine the correlation between team and coworker relationship and employee engagement in Federal University of Technology, Nigeria. Social exchange theory (SET) was utilized in developing the research framework. A total of 150 non-academics staff from Federal University of Technology, representing a response rate of 63.3% participated in this study. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaire. one hypothesis was tested using SPSS 2.0. The findings indicated that the relationship between team and co-worker relationship and employee engagement is low (r = .252). Theoretical and practical implications of the study as well as suggestions for future research were discussed.

Correlation between team and co-worker relationship and employee engagement

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological contract and employee commitment from the perspective of employees. In this regard, four types of psychological contract have been selected as independent variables and employee commitment as dependent variable. The primary data have been collected from 340 private sectors’ employees in Bangladesh through floating a structured questionnaire designed with five-point Likert measurement scale. Descriptive statistics and bivariate correlation have been applied to know the interplay among independent and dependent variables. The linear regression result and hypothetical analysis reveal that relational and balanced psychological contract have significant relationship with employee commitment. On the contrary, transactional and transitional psychological contracts hypotheses are rejected due to the insignificance. Eventually the findings of the study imply that majority of the employees highly prefer enduring relational employment with loyalty, faith, commitment and job security rather than short term ambiguous employment with high contingent pay and training.

Fostering Employee Commitment: The Role of Psychological Contract

Employee engagement works an engine which drives the employee to achieve productivity at optimized level. Employee engagement has gained its vital importance from last 15 years or so as many business severe face the tough competition and economic meltdown; stress on basis of mentally and physically is an important aspect of human resource so to gain the next level edge on competition and level of productivity; this must be properly taken into consideration. It is emerging as a new hot topic for young research fellows to find out the ways for better and efficient human resource management and on the same time to analyse the reviewed literature and add something substantial in this regard. For the current study, 159 IT professionals from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS, Gurgaon) were analysed with an objective to analyse the various employee engagement factors and their influence on the job outcomes (Satisfaction with Job, Commitment, Quitting intentions) and on employee engagement (Organization and job) as well. For the data analysis, the descriptive test with multiple regression analysis is undertaken in the study. The results of the study states that rewards and recognition, career advancement, co- workers relationships majorly affect and influence the level of job outcomes.

An analytical study on employee's engagement and its relationship with job outcomes: A case of tata consultancy services (TCS)

This study examines the human resource (HR) practices that promote employee retention. Effective HR practices can reduce employee turnover and increase retention within an organization. Key employees are the instrument for overall growth and development of an organization. This study focuses on telecom sector of India, a special reference to Delhi/NCR. The most important HR practices have been identified with the help of literature. These practices are training and development, compensation and culture. A questionnaire was developed in this study with the help of literature to measure the identified HR practices and employee retention. The sample size of this study was 250. Regression analysis was performed to analyse the data. The results of multiple regressions revealed a significant impact of HR practices on employee retention. Compensation and culture has a positive relationship with employee retention whereas training and development has a negative one. This study guides the management to devise the effective strategies to improve the employee retention.
