TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure of [Zn(AAP)2Cl2] (1) was determined by X-ray crystallography, and the structural analysis of 1 showed that the complex exists as a monomeric nonionic molecule with zinc atom bound to two AAP ligands and two chloride ions adopting a distorted tetrahedral geometry.
