TL;DR: The drug resistance rates are quiet high in MDR-TB for both first line and second line drugs, and the standardized MDR TB regimen needs to be updated, based on the prevalence of drug resistance patterns in the community for the effective management of drug resistant TB.
Study of nickel ion release in simulated body fluid from c+-implanted nickel titanium alloy
Muhammad Ahsan Shafique,Ghulam Murtaza,Shahzad Saadat,Zeeshan Zaheer,Muhammad Shahnawaz,Muhammad K. H. Uddin,Riaz Ahmad +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of C+ implantation on nickel ion release and affinity of calcium phosphate precipitation on NiTi alloy was studied and it was found that 8×1013ions/cm2 (≈1014) is a safer limit of implantation, this limit gives us lesser ion release, better hardness and reasonable hydroxyapatite incubation affinity.

Improved cell viability and hydroxyapatite growth on nitrogen ion-implanted surfaces
TL;DR: Stainless steel 306 is implanted with various doses of nitrogen ions using a 2'MV pelletron accelerator for the improvement of its surface biomedical properties as discussed by the authors. But the results of the experiments were limited.
