Visible light driven CO2 reduction to methanol by Cu-porphyrin impregnated mesoporous Ti-MCM-48
Saad Nadeem,Asad Mumtaz,Asad Mumtaz,Mudassar Mumtaz,M.I. Abdul Mutalib,Maizatul Shima Shaharun,Bawadi Abdullah +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a mesoporous Ti-MCM-48 photocatalyst with Si/Ti (wt/wt) ratio of 100, 50 and 25 was applied for CO2 reduction into methanol under UV-visible light irradiation bearing mid gap energy states and Ti3+ sites.

Effect of pH on the static adsorption of foaming surfactants on Malaysian sandstone
TL;DR: In this paper, the adsorption of two in-house developed CO2-philic foaming surfactants on Malaysian sandstone was reported, and the effect of increasing the pH to 10 was comparable to bottle test results, and adorption was decreased about five times.

An Integrated Property–Performance Analysis for CO2-Philic Foam-Assisted CO2-Enhanced Oil Recovery
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a tailor-ma... approach to evaluate CO2-philic surfactant properties and applications and the surfactants structure-performance analysis, which can enhance foam stability, improve mobility control, and accelerate foam propagation.

A Review on CO 2 Foam for Mobility Control: Enhanced Oil Recovery
Shehzad Ahmed,Khaled Abdalla Elraies,Isa M. Tan,Mudassar Mumtaz +3 more
- 01 Jan 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, a recent experimental research for laboratory screening and evaluation of surfactant is highlighted and the foam mobility in the porous media has been reviewed, and the parameters important for the generation of efficient foam for the purpose of EOR have also been reviewed.
