The production of charcoal briquettes was based on the concept of utilizing waste for sustainable and eco-friendly solutions within the green economy. This study introduces a new approach for optimizing important properties of charcoal briquettes. The approach aims to determine the appropriate operating conditions using a hybrid method. It integrates a novel TOPSIS linear programming with genetic algorithms based on response surface methodology. The experiment used an optimal mixture ratio of 25:10:6, including coconut shell, bagasse ash, and corncob. The results of the responses showed increased heating value and burning time by 5.13 % and 5.71 %, respectively, and moisture content decreased by 15.12 %. Furthermore, confirmation experiments within a 95 % confidence interval verified that the three responses obtained at the optimal operating conditions of process factors. The total cost of charcoal briquettes is 0.903 USD/kg and a payback period of 4.85 years. This illustrates that process improvement also aligns with the broader goals of promoting green and a circular economy. 

Multi-Response Optimization of charcoal briquettes process for green economy using a novel TOPSIS linear programming and Genetic Algorithms based on Response Surface Methodology

This study aims to determine the perceptions of students learning English using various digital media at the Islamic university level. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, using observation and interviews. The research involved 10 respondents representing the Institute of Islamic Religion (IAI) Tulang Bawang, Lampung. Of the 10 respondents who answered the questionnaire, 87 percent stated why they prefer digital media over non-digital media. The reasons for these respondents are that digital media is more attractive, modern, and practical, in favor of students, and does not require a lot of paper. In addition, digital media can help students become autonomous and independent learners. This can also be used as a reference for developing independent curriculum implementation at KKNI level 6 in higher education.

Students’ Perceptions of Using Digital Media in English Language Learning

This study was done to find a way to turn the rice husk trash. This study aims to generate high-quality briquettes by optimizing the composition of adhesive materials and compaction pressure during the production of briquettes from rice husks. This study's methodology was an experimental one. Testing briquette quality involves measuring their moisture content (%), ash content (%), and calorific value (cal/g) in accordance with SNI 01-6235-2000, which is the standard for briquette quality. The conclusion is briquette samples with a 70:30 composition of charcoal and adhesive and high compaction pressure are the most ideal samples, as evidenced by the fact that they passed the moisture content test and created products with the lowest ash content and highest calorific value.

Optimization of Making Charcoal Briquettes from Rice Husks with Variations in the Composition of Adhesive Materials and Compaction Pressure

This study assesses the application of online learning in basic education at MIN 2 Palembang City using CIPP Model. This study employs a qualitative approach. Data reduction, data display, and making conclusions were used in the data analysis. The results found that the school environment is good, but the computer laboratory is non-existent due to restricted space. The examined aspect's input component is human resources, specifically students and instructors who support the adoption of online learning despite several barriers, including students' lack of psychological readiness for online learning and the lack of a computer laboratory. In the process component, it was determined that the implementation of learning was ineffective due to several hurdles such as internet network disruptions, device limits, quotas, economic situations, busy parents, and some subjects that were difficult to study online. The product component examines the learning outcomes in the form of leger. During the covid epidemic, assessment is less objective than in traditional learning.

Evaluating Online Learning in Primary Education

Researches on the use of logico media to improve students' speaking skills in report text for high school students is still rarely done. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe and evaluate the effectiveness of logico media in improving English proficiency in Report Text in class IX students of Room 1 MTs Negeri (State Islamic junior high school) 1 Kotawaringin Timur. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings with research procedures starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 31 students of Class IX Room 1 MTs Negeri 1 Kotawaringin Timur. The data in this study were obtained through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were then descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively analyzed. This study's findings show that Logico Media helps students in Room 1 of MTs Negeri 1 Kotawaringin Timur's Class IX improve their speaking skills and learning outcome. English-speaking skills increased from 19.84 percent to 85.64 percent by the end of cycle 2, while classical learning outcomes reached 100% with a percentage increase from 48.39 percent to 100 percent by cycle 2.

The use of logico media to enhance students' speaking skills in report texts

Tujuan penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengelaborasikan konsep dan implementasi HOTS dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah library research. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan, mengembangkan HOTS memberikan kemampuan bagi individu untuk mengambil keputusan yang lebih baik, menjadi pemikir yang mandiri, dan berkontribusi secara positif terhadap masyarakat. HOTS membantu individu untuk berpikir di luar batasan konvensional dan menjadi inovator dalam berbagai bidang. Implikasinya, dengan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang konsep dan komponen HOTS, serta strategi dan metode pengajaran yang tepat, pengembangan HOTS dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif
