Channel-Driven Decentralized Bayesian Federated Learning for Trustworthy Decision Making in D2D Networks
Luca Barbieri,Osvaldo Simeone,Monica Nicoli +2 more
- 19 Oct 2022
TL;DR: This paper proposes to leverage channel noise on the D2D links as a mechanism for MCMC sampling through Decentralized Stochastic Gradient Langevin Dynamics (DSGLD), a recently introduced gradient-based Markov Chain Monte Carlo method.
A Carbon Tracking Model for Federated Learning: Impact of Quantization and Sparsification
TL;DR: A framework for real-time monitoring of the energy and carbon footprint impacts of FL systems is proposed and quantization and sparsification operations are shown to strike a balance between learning performances and energy consumption, leading to sustainable FL designs.
Erratum to “UWB Localization in a Smart Factory: Augmentation Methods and Experimental Assessment”
TL;DR: In this paper, the text in the box of Fig. 9(b) should report $\varepsilon$ @95% = 1.17 m rather than $0.40 m.
