Yaghoub Aghaye Noroozlo,Mohammad Kazem Souri,Mojtaba Delshad +2 more
- 28 Mar 2019
TL;DR: In this article, the growth and nutrient uptake of Romain lettuce (Lactuca sativa subvar Sahara) were evaluated under spray of glycine or glutamine at different concentrations of 0 (as control), 250, 500 and 1000 mg.

Effect of grafting on growth, yield and fruit quality of single and double stemmed tomato plants grown hydroponically
TL;DR: Grafted and double stemmed plants resulted in significant increase in dry matter allocation to different tomato organs and Contents of total soluble solids and vitamin C increased in the fruits harvested from the grafted plants.

Effects of salt stress on physiological and postharvest quality characteristics of different Iranian genotypes of basil
Farzaneh Bekhradi,Farzaneh Bekhradi,Mojtaba Delshad,Alicia Marín,María C. Luna,Yolanda Garrido,Abdolkarim Kashi,Mesbah Babalar,María I. Gil +8 more
TL;DR: The positive or negative effects of salt stress on basil depend on the degree of tolerance of the different genotypes, and during storage of Green Iranian basil, salt stress increased the content of individual and total phenolic acids compared to the control.

Application of modal analysis to the watermelon through finite element modeling for use in ripeness assessment
Rouzbeh Abbaszadeh,Ali Rajabipour,Hassan Sadrnia,Mohammad J. Mahjoob,Mojtaba Delshad,Hojjat Ahmadi +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) is used for non-destructive detection of the vibration response of watermelons to predict ripeness.

Effect of three cucurbits rootstocks on vegetative and yield of 'Charleston Gray' watermelon
TL;DR: It is recommended that grafting procedure in some crops such as watermelons should be done only after assuring the benefits and risks of grafted seedlings, as efficiency of two kinds of grafting methods are found.
