Implementing the SDGs requires political commitment, adequate resources, and effective policies. Governments play a crucial role in setting national priorities, aligning policies with the SDGs, and mobilizing financial resources. This study investigates how the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) may improve transportation systems and help the planet. It stresses the significance of environmentally friendly transportation in solving urban and ecological problems. Smart mobility solutions, electric mobility adoption, and AI-enhanced public transit are all made possible by the IoT and artificial intelligence. The importance of environmental monitoring through IoT sensors is emphasized, and the chapter also examines IoT-based intelligent parking systems and safety precautions. The study additionally examines how IoT and AIoT influence urban planning and efficiency, aiming to better organize cities and their transportation systems to reduce traffic and urban sprawl. This chapter explores the potential of these technologies to curb harmful emissions and encourage environmentally friendly modes of transportation. The study uses in-depth analysis of case studies and practical applications to demonstrate their use and potential. It discusses the dangers and problems of using these technologies, as well as the steps that may be taken to make operations more secure and dependable. Smarter choices about the future of transportation may be made with the help of IoT and AIoT by legislators, urban planners, and transportation regulators.

Intelligent internet of vehicles is an emerging technology and has an impact on all smart vehicles on the road due to rapid development in satellite communication integrated with internet technology and enables the integration of smart vehicles with system components like inbuilt vehicle sensors and internet, surrounding vehicles, and smart devices. This integration creates a safe and better platform for vehicles to travel on the road and at the same time be connected to the surrounding environment and vehicles for better performance. Integrating blockchain technology with vehicular communication and smart vehicles is the latest emerging concept. In this chapter, the authors present the survey and latest advancement in block chain technology for intelligent transport systems. This chapter's main highlight is on the application scenario of the internet of vehicles using block chain after a decent review of the literature survey. Also, the authors focus on key challenges and explore further research paths in the intelligent internet of vehicles using block chain technology.

The chapter presents a project that enhances virtual assistant capabilities through blockchain integration, featuring a self-learning module and a Solana-based blockchain network with smart contracts. Implementation employs Vanilla JavaScript, Express.js, and Node.js, offering end-to-end customer support and adapting to modern lifestyles. The fusion of AI and blockchain showcases the potential for a robust and secure online conversation platform.

Two promising approaches that can enhance IoT security are blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI). Blockchain can offer a decentralized and tamper-proof framework, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of IoT data. AI can analyze large volumes of real-time data and detect anomalies in response to security threats in the IoT ecosystem. This paper explores the potential of these technologies and how they complement each other to provide a secured IoT system. Our main argument is that combining blockchain with AI can provide a robust solution for securing IoT networks and safeguarding the privacy of IoT users. This survey paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the potential of these technologies for securing IoT networks and discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with their integration.
