Improvement of Nd:YAG laser efficiency by long lifetime dye doped ORMOSILs
TL;DR: In this paper, the spectrum of a flash lamp was corrected by layers of dye doped organically modified silicate (ORMOSIL), and the application of the spectrally corrected lamp in pumping of a Nd:YAG laser caused an increase of about 45% in the overall laser efficiency.

Experimental and theoretical investigations of the concentration-dependent linear optical properties of Rhodamine 6G in the presence of Gold nanorods
TL;DR: In this paper, the linear optical properties of Rhodamine 6G dye were investigated at different concentrations in the absence and presence of gold nanorods, and the experimental results of photoluminescence were in good agreement with the theoretical model based on the Gaussian function.

Modification of the optical characteristics of Rhodamine B dye with different concentrations using gold nanorods
D. Razzaghi,Mohammad Barzan,Morteza Sasani Ghamsari,A. M. Ghorbanzadeh,Ata Koohian,Narges Ajamgard +5 more
TL;DR: The optical absorption and fluorescence of Rhodamine B dye solution with different dye concentrations, from 0.1 to 40 µm, in the presence of gold nanorods were studied in this article.

Experimental investigation of thermal lens effect in a flashlamp pumped CTH:YAG laser rod
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal lens effect in a CTH:YAG laser crystal was studied experimentally using the probe beam technique, and it was shown that the dioptric power of the three mode lenses increases when pumping energy increases.
